The vibrant atmosphere of the basement pub, complete with live music, truly enhanced our stay and made our evenings enjoyable.
The room's air conditioning controls were poorly labeled, making it difficult to adjust the temperature comfortably.

The unique decor reflects Augusta's rich history.
I was frustrated by the outdated bathroom and uncomfortable mattress. The check-in process was particularly cumbersome, as there was no front desk. Coordinating with a property manager added unnecessary stress to my stay.

The charming inn features uniquely decorated rooms named after influential women, giving a delightful historic ambiance. Melinda's warm welcome made a great first impression, and the basement pub was a fantastic find, complete with live music that created a lively atmosphere, though I missed experiencing it firsthand. The guidebook provided by Chuck was a well-crafted treasure, packed with local insights and witty commentary that made exploring easy. I did find the overall value slightly overshadowed by higher prices, and some areas felt less maintained than expected.

Solo travelers rejoice
The host Melinda was incredibly welcoming, she made us feel right at home. The basement bar was a delightful surprise, met great people and the live music was just what we needed after a long day.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but if you're looking for character, it's worth it.
